Classes with a teacher
Group classes usually meet twice a week for one hour. Sometimes we may take a little longer than two months if the group needs more practice, or finish a little sooner depending on how the group class goes.

Level 2 Tour
Course content
Level 2 is all about present tense and reinforcing what you learned in Level 1. You’ll talk about your routine, your work, your family and the things you enjoy doing. You’ll also practice sharing more details about yourself so you can introduce yourself and keep the conversation going when you meet someone new.
Throughout this level, you will learn:
- How to conjugate regular verbs and some of the most common irregular verbs in the present tense.
- How to talk about your routines, work, family, interests and everyday activities.
- How to ask other people about their routines, work and interests.
- How to use reflexive verbs to talk about daily actions.
- How to use ser and estar to describe people, places and everyday situations.
- How to use the present progressive to describe what is happening right now.
- How to apply our pronunciation technique while speaking in the present tense.
What happens after Level 2?
In Level 3, you begin talking in past tense. You learn how to describe what you did earlier today, yesterday, last weekend and at other specific moments.
The sentence structures, pronunciation and vocabulary from Levels 1 and 2 continue to be used, but now you begin combining them with past-tense verbs.
Level 3 is already included with your Toani Membership, so you can continue when you are ready.
