Classes with a teacher
Group classes usually meet twice a week for one hour. Sometimes we may take a little longer than three months if the group needs more practice, or finish a little sooner depending on how the group class goes.

Level 1 Tour
Course content
We strongly believe in the power of pronunciation when learning a new language. Practicing pronunciation early on can help you develop good habits and avoid developing bad ones. Therefore, from Lesson 1 you begin to learn how to speak and sound natural in Spanish.
Throughout this level, you will learn:
- How to use our pronunciation technique to say common Spanish words and phrases more naturally.
- How to start and finish simple everyday conversations using greetings and polite expressions.
- How to ask specific questions in a restaurant and accept or decline what you’re being offered.
- How to build sentences on your own using 50 commonly used verbs.
- How to ask for everyday items and build basic questions on your own.
- How to talk about plans and future actions using ir a + infinitive.
What happens after Level 1?
In Level 2, you begin working more directly with present-tense conjugations. You use them together with the sentence structures and common phrases introduced in Level 1.
This allows you to talk in more detail about your routines, work, family, interests and everyday activities.
Level 2 is already included with your Toani Membership, so you can continue when you are ready.
